endangered tigers

We are going to learn about the tiger a beautiful creature.

Now how exactly are the tigers dying, well the picture explains it all.

Now the tigers won't just give their selves up they won't go down without a fight. This is a Sumatran tiger, but we'll get to that later.

This is a Indian tiger. You can tell because the stripes on his head is more narrow.

Tiger habitats are all over the world, this one found a nice comfy grass spot to lay in.

Tigers can be great hunters, but they can also be a little lazy most of the time. This one has propped himself on a rock and is comfortably gazing at the sky.

This is a Sumatran tiger. There is only about 441 left in the wild. You can tell its a Sumatran tiger because it has circles below the eyes. The Sumatran tiger is the smallest of tiger subspecies. The white spots on the back of the ear are called "eyespots" or "predator spots". These spots fool predators.

  1. Oh my, those are the cutest cubs I've ever seen! The tiger is beautiful. You chose good pictures. Again, thanks for the lesson. It's sad to see the animals disappearing--especially for the gratification of human beings.
